Dr. Jeff Tom is a Prosthodontist. He has practiced in Palm Desert since 1993. He was born in Honolulu, Hawaii and has lived in California since 1986. He is a graduate of the University of Southern California School of Dentistry and the Graduate Prosthodontics program at USC as well. As a prosthodontist, his responsibilities for patient care are the diagnosis and treatment of restorative and aesthetic dental solutions of all types. Dr. Tom’s interests are family-oriented, and he is an accomplished deep sea fisherman and avid outdoorsman. Snow skiing, camping, gardening, and caring for his chickens occupy his spare time.
He is a member of numerous professional organizations including: the American College of Prosthodontics, The American Dental Association and its local components, and numerous study clubs.
I believe in a conservative approach to dentistry, with available treatment options always presented to my patients. Listening to a patient’s concerns allows me to succeed many times where others have failed. My goals for my patients are to prevent tooth loss and look to permanent, bone attached replacements when teeth are missing.
